Protein Facility

The amino acid analyzer has ceased to function properly and we have been unable to get the instrument back into correct running order. After exploring solutions for this problem, it has been decided to discontinue AAA as a service that the Protein Facility will provide. Requests for AAA will be forwarded to the University of Missouri Agricultural Experiment Station Chemical Laboratories (http://www.aescl.missouri.edu/AminoAcids.html).

This service provided accurate sample concentration determination and protein/peptide composition. This will not affect N-terminal protein/peptide sequencing or our other services.
