Ames Area Proteome Discussion Group--September 24, 2002
Purpose and scope
Proteomics is rapidly becoming an important tool for analyzing the proteomes of prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells to define the effects of 'environmental' pressures on the proteome. The purpose and scope of this discussion group is to:
- share new information in technologies
- discuss new instrumentation and procedures
- discuss new software and bioinformatics
- review the literature
- discuss research results
- distribute news alerts
- hold seminars, symposia and workshops
